A SAFE PLACE TO STAY, CHANGES EVERYTHING…

That is where rebuilding can begin.

Structured support for success

Our shelter sites are intentionally designed to be organized, predictable, and supportive. Participants agree to community guidelines that protect the dignity and safety of all residents. Background checks help ensure a secure setting.

This structure allows residents to settle in, feel safe, and begin working toward their goals without constant uncertainty.

When someone is experiencing houselessness, even simple daily tasks become harder without a secure place to rest. Without shelter, it is difficult to think clearly or take the steps needed to move toward stable housing.

Central Oregon Villages provides safe, temporary shelter and community support for unhoused neighbors in Bend and throughout Central Oregon. Our village-style sites offer individual living units in structured environments where people can focus on what comes next.

We understand that lasting change starts with safety. Our shelter communities are sober and drug-free with clear expectations that promote respect, accountability, and security for everyone.

Volunteers Building COV Structures

Participants at any of our three locations agree to live sober and free of drugs and to attend weekly case management sessions. Participants also assist with the upkeep of the sites, both for each other and for the wider neighborhood.

Not everyone is ready for this step, and that’s ok! Let us help you navigate to another safe place for the time being.

Either way, get in touch with our Outreach/Housing Navigation team and take the leap forward.

Participants at Central Oregon Villages receive more than shelter…

They receive guidance.

Through individualized case management and housing navigation, residents are supported as they work toward permanent housing and greater self-sufficiency. We partner with local agencies and service providers so each person has access to the resources they need at the right time.
